Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Finance and Accounting to lead and manage the financial operations of our organization in Santa Clara, California. This role is pivotal in driving strategic financial planning, ensuring compliance with reporting standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing complex financial environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and oversee the organization’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning strategies
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making processes
  • Implement pricing strategies, margin improvement initiatives, and cost control measures to optimize financial performance
  • Manage multi-entity financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure audit readiness while addressing any audit findings
  • Oversee working capital management, including receivables and inventory, to maintain liquidity
  • Partner with operational leaders to enhance financial performance and develop efficient reporting tools
  • Lead and mentor accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable teams to foster growth and achieve organizational goals
  • Drive process improvements, including automation and system enhancements, to increase operational efficiency
  • Support acquisition analysis, integration planning, and capital allocation to align with organizational objectives

Requirements

  • Active CPA license required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles
  • Proven expertise in managing multi-entity accounting structures and complex close processes
  • Demonstrated experience in financial system implementation and process automation
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in forecasting and financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact effectively at the executive level
  • Solid understanding of corporate financial planning and reporting procedures
