Job Responsibility:
set and execute the strategic agenda for the Customer Domain within Digital Technology, including customer data management, loyalty, personalization, and digital trust platforms
lead the development and delivery of a robust technology roadmap that supports omnichannel engagement and customer data excellence
drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including automation, scalability, and continuous integration/delivery
act as a visionary leader and role model, inspiring and developing a large team of engineers (internal and external) while attracting top talent
collaborate closely with product counterparts to develop technical strategies aligned with business outcomes and customer experience goals
represent IKEA externally and internally as a senior technology leader, advocating for innovation and digital transformation
own the end-to-end technology lifecycle—from strategy and design to implementation, support, and operations—ensuring reliable and effective delivery
monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities that enhance operational capabilities and customer experiences
promote a culture of continuous learning, inclusion, and collaboration through communities of practice and inner source principles
take shared ownership of business outcomes and act as the single point of contact for all technology aspects in your domain
Requirements:
15+ years of experience leading large, multi-disciplinary engineering teams across multiple locations
proven track record of driving technological transformation in fast-paced, complex environments
strong leadership and people development skills, with experience managing teams of similar size and impact
deep understanding of agile development practices and modern software engineering principles
passion for customer-centric technology and data, personalization, and digital trust
