The VP – National Restaurant Chains will serve as a senior commercial leader responsible for driving revenue, strategic partnerships, and long-term business growth across major national restaurant accounts. This individual must bring strong industry relationships, proven sales leadership, and experience managing multi-million-dollar accounts within the food manufacturing, CPG, or restaurant chain sector.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement national account strategies aligned with company revenue goals
Lead high-level growth initiatives, innovation planning, and competitive market positioning
Manage executive-level relationships with top U.S. restaurant chains
Oversee Joint Business Plans (JBPs), contract negotiations, pricing, and partner engagement
Lead and mentor Directors, Account Managers, and cross-functional commercial staff
Promote a culture of accountability, performance, and commercial excellence
Drive top-line revenue growth through strategic selling, assortment planning, and innovation
Ensure strong execution of promotions, launches, and category expansion initiatives
Work closely with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams
Ensure seamless execution for client deliverables and national account programs
Oversee demand planning, forecasting, and sales performance analytics
Provide data-backed insights for market penetration and expansion
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and evolving customer needs
Recommend new products, packaging, and service models to deepen partnerships
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
MBA preferred
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in national account management or commercial sales
Proven success managing national restaurant chain accounts or large-scale foodservice clients
Strong industry relationships with decision-makers in national restaurant groups
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills
Experience leading high-performing, revenue-driven teams
Data-driven, analytical mindset with ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
