Leadership and direction of all International financial activities at the CHRISTUS Health system, including financial operations, accuracy and completeness of management reporting, implementing industry leading practices and procedures for the accounting and tax functions, as well as leading revenue cycle operations and patient accounting functions
Directing and managing all aspects of the international financial operations functions
including strategic planning, organizing, implementing, and managing of personnel and resources
Manages acquisitions financial due diligence for international opportunities and has overall responsibilities managing, ambulatory centers and health plans in future acquisitions
Ensure CHRISTUS Health operations in Latin America financial statements are accurate and compliant with GAAP and international standards
Oversee financial/accounting, reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and treasury for CHRISTUS Health operations in Latin America
Direct the month-end close process and review consolidated financial statements and dashboards for CHRISTUS Health operations in Latin America
Supervise and support external audit processes, ensuring timely compliance with deadlines and resolution of findings
Identify and lead execution for financial planning opportunities to optimize cash flow, improve cash repatriation initiatives, and enhance financial returns for CHRISTUS Health from Latin America operations and subsidiaries
Identify and mitigate financial risks in collaboration with U.S., regional, and local finance teams
Lead and manage corporate and sub holding subsidiaries entities in Latin America from a financial and operational perspective
Drive / support CHRISTUS Health strategic projects across Latin America operations to enable organic / inorganic growth, such as Operational efficiencies, different functions system wide initiatives, M&A / alliances and/or analysis/deployment of new products
Lead establishment and evolution of shared services teams in Latin America to provide services to CHRISTUS Health
Participate in board and finance committee meetings as needed, support governance and strategic alignment
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (U.S. equivalent)
15 years of progressive finance and operations experience in an international setting
Minimum of five (5) years prior CFO or Vice President or similarly related position in Finance
Experience in project management, managing multiple projects across Latin America with tight deadlines
Experience leading international finance functions, including strategy, planning, budgeting, treasury, tax compliance, and accounting operations for Latin America
Experience leading/supporting global companies' operations in Latin America
Experience leading shared services in Latin America, with large teams and supporting multiple functions, finance, HR, revenue cycle, IT, etc.
