Job Description:

Vice President role within Institutional Credit Management (ICM) Risk Analysis team, responsible for delivering best-in-class credit risk analysis, monitoring and credit administration. The role ensures quality assurance and timely delivery while being primarily responsible for coaching and training of the team of AVPs and Credit Risk Analysts. This position has responsibility for the Japan Corporate Underwriting Portfolio.

Job Responsibility:

Accountability for ensuring best in class core credit risk analysis of applicable portfolio
Act as primary 'checker' within the team to all activities performed by Credit Risk Analysts
Supporting continuous engagement with applicable BCMA and Independent Risk senior stakeholders
Ensure ongoing and timely feedback and coaching of Credit Risk Analysts
Partnership with applicable regional and industry stakeholders in implementation of credit assessment and monitoring standards
Support the Global Head and Underwriting CAO on internal projects and initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor's/University degree in Finance/Accounting or any other related subject, Master's degree preferred
Financial Services experience including 6-10 years of credit experience in Banking or Credit Risk Management
Ability to evaluate, negotiate, structure and/or monitor extensions of credit
Knowledge of relevant Citi-level and business-level credit policies
Well-developed analytical skills, including an understanding of key financial components (liquidity position, leverage profile, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of financial statements and GAAP accounting or similar governance
Knowledge of the relevant customer, industry, and product range
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills
Exceptional experience with internal Policies, Standards, Procedures, Templates and with financial modeling

Nice to have:

Solid organizational skills with ability and willingness to work under pressure
