Job Description:

HSBC Life in Singapore is the combination of AXA Singapore and HSBC Insurance, specializing in Insurance in the Asia-Pacific region. The role involves product ownership, governance, product development, collaboration, training, and monitoring product performance. Job Responsibility:

  • Product ownership and Governance
  • Have a complete overview of all the short-term health and Employee Benefits (EB) products including international and domestic products
  • Ensure they are compliant with HSBC Life standards, regulatory and Industry requirements
  • Develop and Execute Product Development Plan
  • Guide team in product research and competitor analysis to understand customer preferences and market dynamics
  • Create and implement comprehensive product development strategies targeting all customer segments, including lead generation and synergistic collaborations with the bank
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations throughout the product development process
  • Prepare all necessary product collaterals, product specifications and manage product approvals in required committees
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Required to work closely with various other teams like distribution teams, customer retention team, legal, compliance, risk, group office, claims, underwriting, operations, marketing
  • Training and Development
  • Conduct 'Train the Trainer' sessions to enhance product knowledge among the sales and support teams
  • Monitor post-launch product performance
  • Lead the post-launch product performance reports

Requirements:

  • Good experience in managing individual and group Accident & Health (A&H) product development, pricing or underwriting or equivalent role
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Strong conceptualization and analytical skills
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional projects
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality products
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A creative mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
