Job Description:

The Vice President, Global Supply Chain is responsible for leading the strategic direction, performance, and continuous advancement of Valvoline Global Operations’ (VGO) end-to-end supply chain. This includes direct accountability for global manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, logistics, demand and supply planning, and customer service across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. The role ensures operational execution aligns with Valvoline’s strategic goals, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards, financial targets, and customer expectations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute global supply chain strategies aligned with business growth, EH&S standards, and operational excellence
  • Lead regional supply chain leaders across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC in driving standardization, performance, and global alignment
  • Partner with the COO and other executives to translate strategy into actionable supply chain models
  • Oversee global manufacturing, distribution, and warehousing operations to ensure efficiency, safety, quality, and customer service
  • Lead global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to align forecasting, inventory, production, and logistics
  • Establish global KPIs and accountability routines to drive operational excellence
  • Lead development of global quality systems that ensure consistent product and service performance
  • Lead, coach, and develop a global supply chain leadership team and broader organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in a global manufacturing context
  • Proven success leading large-scale operations across multiple international regions
  • Strong expertise in manufacturing, logistics, S&OP, and customer service
  • Deep knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP), analytics, and operational technologies
  • Exceptional financial acumen, with experience managing P&L impact and capital planning
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP or CPIM) are a plus
  • Up to 40% international travel is required
  • Flexibility in working across multiple time zones
