The role provides executive leadership for a high-growth, multi-site manufacturing organization, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations that deliver on customer, financial, and strategic objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute the multi-site manufacturing strategy aligned with enterprise goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture
Lead the overall performance of the engineered solutions business, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations across all locations
Lead long-range operational planning, including capacity strategy, network optimization, capital deployment, and technology roadmaps
Ensure stability and scalability of operations to support business growth, new product launches, and commercial commitments
Support ongoing expansion efforts, including ramp-up of newer facilities and future site development to increase network capacity
Provide executive leadership across multiple facilities, ensuring consistency in performance standards, accountability, and execution
Oversee P&L elements related to manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and quality
deliver financial targets and improve year-over-year performance
Drive transformation initiatives related to automation, digitization, process modernization, and organizational effectiveness
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve cost competitiveness, operational agility, and service reliability
Drive improvements in throughput, lead times, planning accuracy, inventory health, and overall operational efficiency
Identify operational bottlenecks and ensure the right resources, support, and leadership are in place to improve performance
Build a performance culture centered on accountability, empowerment, engagement, and operational discipline
Establish expectations for the Engineering function to ensure sites operate with strong coordination between sales and production so customer-driven, state-of-the-art products are designed and delivered effectively
Ensure robust preventive and predictive maintenance programs are in place to maximize uptime and extend asset life
Develop strategies to improve customer service levels, reduce lead times, optimize inventory, and mitigate supply disruptions
Ensure planning accuracy, inventory health, and alignment with S&OP / IBP processes
Oversee key functions across engineering, production planning, supply chain, logistics, and related operational support teams
Ensure operations are aligned to meet demanding customer expectations for quality, responsiveness, and delivery
Set and uphold a world-class safety culture across all sites
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory standards
Partner with customers on quality expectations, audits, corrective actions, and scorecard improvements
Champion quality performance and customer responsiveness while ensuring standards are maintained through growth and complexity
Oversee risk assessments related to operations, supply chain, labor, capacity, and compliance
Ensure business continuity plans, redundancy strategies, and disaster recovery processes are maintained and tested
Drive enterprise-level problem solving and crisis management for urgent operational issues
Provide executive leadership to direct reports in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, and Safety
Build a high-performance culture centered on accountability, empowerment, engagement, and operational discipline
Develop talent pipelines, succession plans, leadership development programs, and workforce strategies across all sites
Evaluate organizational structure and talent to ensure the right people are in the right roles
Partner with HR on labor relations, performance management, staffing models, and organizational design
Coach and develop leaders who can effectively lead at the plant, functional, and business-unit levels
Serve as a key member of the executive team
collaborate with Sales, Finance, R&D, IT, Product Management, and other business leaders to meet business goals
Partner closely with Power Systems and commercial leadership to align operational capacity with customer demand and business growth
Support customer engagement, major account reviews, and resolution of escalated service, delivery, or quality issues
Partner with Finance on performance management, budgeting, capital planning, and year-over-year improvement
Provide strategic input on growth planning, investment priorities, and operating model evolution across the business
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred, or related equivalent experience
Significant leadership experience in multi-site manufacturing, operations, or business unit leadership roles
Proven success leading large, complex manufacturing organizations with responsibility across multiple functions
Experience overseeing manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, planning, quality, safety, and related operational functions
Demonstrated success in high-growth environments requiring scale, structure, leadership development, and improved operating discipline
