Reporting to the Head of Fund Accounting, the Vice President will be an integral part of the team’s success. The roles consist of managing a small number of client relationships, ensuring superior client service and the delivery of accurate information in a timely fashion. The Vice President will have responsibility for their clients’ portfolios from start to finish.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the Fund Accounting teams including training and professional development
Recruit additional resources as required to ensure high standard of client service
Manage the day-to-day operations, in coordination with supporting managers of the Fund Accounting unit, including daily, weekly, monthly and annual client deliverables
Manage client-specific requests and define projects to develop processes to improve the product offering
Build a relationship with the stakeholders of the funds
Provide technical expertise related to fund structures, investment strategies, management and waterfall calculations, and profit/loss allocations
Review of valuation packages in line with clients’ requirements
Preparation and review of financial statements, supporting information and tax schedules in relation to the year-end audit
Business development as operational and technical expert
Participate in special projects within the group including quality control and process improvements
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years' experience in Fund Administration
Knowledge of Fund structures and set-ups
Financial Reporting experience
Excellent staff management and team building skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
A university degree (B.A./ B.Sc./ M.B.A.) in Business (preferably specializing in accountancy or another financial-related discipline)
An internationally recognized accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent), is not required but is an advantage
