Vice President, Execution Services, Data Science and Analytics

• Create and continuously improve the business’ analytics library including researching and devising innovative statistical models for data analysis
• critically evaluate and improve the data sources that the business uses today and identify relevant new sources and data-sets to mine for client and business needs
• execute analytical experiments and implement new analytics to support Trading and Product Management teams meet the business’ strategic objectives
• provide clear communication on quantitative solutions and project status to all stakeholders
• serve as a senior data strategist to identify and integrate new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities, and work closely with the technology teams in the development of data products
• devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big-data stores
• perform data and error analysis to improve models
• clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy
• analyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mind
• implement analytical models in production by collaborating with software developers within Citi’s Execution Services and Data and Client Platforms franchises
• keep current with technical and industry developments.

• Strong analytical critical thinking skills

• strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and writing)
• strong technical and programming skills with experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (e.g. Java/Python, SAS)
• ability to work in a demanding environment
• comfortable with working on projects with tight deadlines
• proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
• proficiency in pattern recognition and predictive modelling
• desirable: Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics/Physics/Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
