Job Description:

The Vice President, Enterprise Application and Optimization is a strategic and operational leader supporting Allied Universal Technology Services (AUTS), a growth business unit of Allied Universal. The Vice President is responsible for driving technology strategy and execution through partnering across sales, engineering, operations, and business intelligence teams. Additionally, this role will coordinate and chair cross-functional, corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in application architecture, project management, and cross-functional collaboration in B2B or project-based services environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business application strategy that aligns with AUTS's vision, including roadmaps for applications, data management, and best-in-class system integration. Support the company’s ongoing AI-powered digital transformation initiatives that enhance business processes and customer experiences. Coordinate the company’s strategic initiatives, ensuring there is a platform and approach to drive the management accountability and execution
  • Application Management: Direct the development, deployment, and integration of business applications across the organization. Ensure applications meet high standards of quality, security, and performance
  • Operational Execution: Lead and develop business intelligence platforms to ensure delivery of accurate, actionable reporting and performance analytics. Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive margin optimization, resource utilization, and continuous performance improvement. Champion a culture of data transparency, real-time reporting, and insight-led data throughout the business. Identify opportunities for automation and systems integration
  • Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for advancement and competitive differentiation
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure applications and architecture adhere to legal, regulatory, and security standards
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage talent acquisition and development strategies to build and retain a skilled workforce
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and ensure the business applications deliver value. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex technical concepts into business terms
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the operating and capital budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support strategic initiatives and operational needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a senior leadership role overseeing applications strategy, architecture, management, configuration and development
  • Experience with: Managing operating and capital budgets
  • Overseeing and supporting SAP environments
  • Managing onshore third-party VARs for ERP (SAP) support
  • Operating in a matrix-based management organizational environment with both field and back-office stakeholders
  • Project-based revenue models or recurring monthly revenue and subscription-based contracts
  • Hands-on project management and leadership of company-wide multi-functional initiatives
  • Regulatory governance requirements in a SOX-based environment
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies that have delivered significant business value
  • SAAS and cloud-based environments
  • Knowledge of CRM, CPQ, ERP/SAP, engineering design, and Business Intelligence systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, WeEstimate, Domo, Tableau, or similar)
  • Deep understanding of application development methodologies and cloud computing
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Experience in SAP ByDesign (BYD), SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365, MS Power Automate and other MS Tools
  • Database and data architecture expertise, with knowledge of at least one analytical (OLAP) and/or transactional (OLTP) database management system (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, HANA)
