The VP ensures that all construction and development activities operate with the highest levels of safety, security, environmental compliance, and operational integrity. Serving as the senior authority on EHS matters, the VP partners with executive leadership, site teams, and clients to reduce risk, elevate compliance, and implement scalable systems that support T5’s rapid growth. This position plays a critical role in protecting people, property, and brand reputation while enabling high-performance execution across multiple, complex, mission-critical construction programs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide executive leadership and guidance to EHS teams across all T5 locations, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor leading and lagging indicators—including audits, incident rates, training performance, and new program adoption—to ensure the safety program remains aligned with organizational goals
  • Hire, develop, and mentor a high-performing EHS team capable of supporting T5 and client-related compliance requirements
  • Partner with department leaders to ensure EHS initiatives align with budgetary objectives and operational needs
  • Maintain expert knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and ensure companywide adherence
  • Continuously evolve program structure, policies, and practices to support a growing organization and enhance business performance
  • Maintain relationships with third-party service providers supporting regulatory compliance and program execution
  • Establish processes to monitor regulatory changes and proactively update company policies accordingly
  • Oversee execution of required monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to local, state, and federal agencies
  • Identify potential environmental, health, and safety risks associated with construction and facilities operations and develop effective mitigation plans
  • Conduct and manage risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews
  • recommend and track corrective actions
  • Provide timely metrics and trend analysis to executive leadership
  • collaborate with management to implement actions that reduce safety risk
  • Develop and implement comprehensive EHS training programs for construction and development teams, ensuring consistent adoption of policies, procedures, and best practice

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety & health, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive EHS leadership experience
  • 10+ years of construction safety experience supporting large-scale new builds or mega-projects ($1B+)
  • 5+ years of General Contractor–side experience
  • 3+ years leading and managing teams in a multi-site environment
  • Demonstrated experience implementing EHS programs for large, distributed construction and operational portfolios
  • Data center or mission-critical infrastructure experience strongly preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CSP or CHST required or strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOT, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and influence teams across all levels of the organization
  • Expertise in developing and implementing EHS strategies, training programs, and compliance systems that produce measurable results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and attention-to-detail capabilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coach, train, and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
