As part of Rackspace Technology’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes, the Vice President, Delivery is responsible for the delivery and operations of our core Rackspace products and services. This leader will drive operational excellence across multiple simultaneous initiatives—from small engagements to complex, mission‑critical programs—ensuring best‑in‑class quality, efficiency, and customer value. The VP, Delivery will bring deep expertise in digital infrastructure, multi‑cloud environments, and service delivery, applying operational discipline that strengthens Rackspace’s market position and brand differentiation. This role is a key member of the Private Cloud Leadership Team, collaborating closely with cross‑functional executives to advance strategic and operational priorities.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute delivery strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth priorities
Build and optimize a high‑performing Global Delivery & Operations engine focused on scalability, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Drive initiatives that enhance service delivery efficiency, process excellence, and operational rigor through standardized operating models, KPIs, and governance
Oversee planning, execution, and completion of delivery engagements, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality outcomes
Implement robust quality control measures and continuous improvement practices
Leverage multi‑cloud platform expertise, cloud migration strategies, and AI-driven automation to enhance capabilities and reduce operational friction
Operate effectively in a matrixed, global, cross‑cultural environment
Partner closely with Go‑to‑Market, Product, Project Management, Engineering, and other key functions to support new business, improve delivery visibility, and ensure seamless client experiences
Strengthen Rackspace’s talent brand by engaging proactively in the global talent market and fostering an environment where careers thrive
Lead a globally distributed, multi‑disciplinary team through clear metrics, transparent communication, and authentic, servant‑leadership principles

Requirements:
Proven success leading complex delivery or operations organizations at scale (preferably $1B+ environments)
Demonstrated P&L accountability in multi-site, globally distributed teams
Expertise in Digital Infrastructure, Cloud, Service Delivery, Technical Operations, and—preferably—Datacenter or Supply Chain
Strong track record managing cross-functional technical and non-technical resources
Ability to attract, retain, and develop world‑class talent in competitive markets
Experience driving operational improvements grounded in metrics, performance management, and process excellence
Skilled collaborator with experience operating in matrixed organizations
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
