Trilogy Federal (Trilogy) seeks a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven Vice President, Audit and Advisory to grow and lead our federal Audit and Advisory services. This role requires a deep understanding of the fiscal and technology challenges facing government entities, and the ability to deliver innovative, actionable solutions that improve financial operations, enhance IT strategy, and enable digital transformation in the audit and advisory sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Communicate with Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Directors and assigned Capture Managers regarding needed resources and leveraging assigned resources
  • Set and drive the strategic vision for Audit and Advisory Practice area
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of consultants and project managers
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for expanding our presence in government agencies
  • Identify emerging trends and drive innovation in audit and advisory services
  • Serve as senior advisor on engagements related to day-to-day project operations as well as strategic planning for accounting work
  • Oversee large-scale, multi-stakeholder audit and advisory projects from strategy through implementation
  • Ensure high-quality project outcomes aligned with client objectives, budgets, and timelines
  • Lead proposal development and contribute to capture strategies for state and local opportunities
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government executives, decision-makers, and stakeholders
  • Develop strategic partnerships and contribute to overall firm growth goals
  • Stay abreast of relevant legislation, funding opportunities, and policy shifts affecting targeting government agencies
  • Coalesce with team members, including operational leadership and SMEs, to build and execute call plans to position Trilogy for successful pursuits
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., subject and technical matter experts, functional leads, and Program Managers) and with external partners to sustain operational excellence, resolve conflicts, and result in successful bids
  • Align with Corporate BD CONOPS and implement Trilogy best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 20+ years of experience
  • 10 years of which must have included experience with capturing and managing a portfolio of federal contract opportunities
  • Understanding of, and experience with procurement processes of the federal government
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and interpersonal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Proven self-starter with a high degree of discipline and attention to detail
  • Must be results driven while retaining relationship equity, participating in all aspects of a complete capture that results in the award of programs
  • Proven ability to develop and execute a sustainable multi-year pipeline of opportunities year over year
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively execute the business development function collaboratively with operational and functional leadership
  • Proven ability to develop and work multiple large (>$100M) opportunities simultaneously
  • Proven track record of developing, shaping and winning opportunities greater than $25M
  • Working knowledge and experience operating within a Shipley business development and capture framework
