The Capital Integrity and Analysis VP provides vital support in managing Services’ RWA capacities. The successful candidate will develop relevant capital reporting, identify capital optimization opportunities, and lead the execution and remediation of data quality to ensure allocation of the right amount of capital.
Job Responsibility:
Assess capital metrics on an ongoing basis to identify remediation opportunities that will free up balance sheet capacity and generate incremental revenue for Services
Drive resolution of capital data quality issues and identify root cause of issues by leading and influencing key stakeholders across the organization (e.g. RWA controllers, loan operations, transaction management)
Support Services’ capacity management by actively participating in Capital Management’s ongoing monitoring processes and deep-diving into breach drivers as needed
Prepare timely and insightful capital reporting for leadership that provides critical insight into drivers of variance, highlights potential areas for B/S remediation, and helps influence actions and outcomes (Monthly RWA variance reporting, monthly Stress Capital Buffer /GSST reporting, etc.)
Enhance capital monitoring tools necessary for identifying capital data quality issues by partnering with off-shore analytics team
Assist the Balance Sheet and Capital Management team on the on-going execution specific capital-investment programs that ensure optimal use of capital
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related fields
advanced degree is a plus
Solid relevant experience in the Financial Services industry
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
Capital Knowledge: familiar with US regulatory capital rules and internal allocation methodologies is a plus
Wholesale Credit Orientation: Experience working with Risk / Treasury / Finance and Technology / Operations partners in product management or risk capacity a plus
Exposure to RWA, TCE, capital and liquidity measures a plus
Understanding of Risk / Corporate Banking functions a plus
