Transaction Management will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle, including loan closing, servicing coordination, client onboarding, data management, and quality control. This role ensures all requirements are met for loan transactions while improving processes, controls, and efficiencies.
Job Responsibility:
Perform leadership role relevant to the build and development of the team supporting loan origination and lifecycle management
create processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation of transaction management
design and implement technology including testing and rollout
produce and provide training and support to transaction management staff and business constituents
partner with originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, etc.
ensure quality of data, controls, and processes meet internal policies and regulatory requirements
define and implement operational metrics and risk/control reviews
improve processes, controls, and efficiencies within the group
lead projects to enhance performance and efficiency
serve as escalation relevant to loan remediation and loan system testing/migrations
actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions
coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues, perform quality control
appropriately assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
6-10 years of experience
excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
ability to work well under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete tasks with minimal management follow up
quantitative skills with high proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft-based programs
familiarity with Tableau or visualization tools
experience with Loan IQ or transaction capture tools
keen attention to detail
strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
client relationship and solution skills
experience in management/team lead capacity, building and developing teams within a large global team supporting wholesale lending at large financial institutions
strong knowledge of wholesale loan product and business, including legal loan documentation, loan/funding mechanics, deal structure, funds flows
substantial experience working with clients under time constraints
proven collaboration skills with team members, senior management, and business constituents
critical decision-making capabilities
ability to multi-task, strong organizational and time management skills
comprehensive understanding of corporate and regulatory policies in relation to lending
deep knowledge of operational processes supporting wholesale lending
focus on achieving/exceeding standards within a KPI/metrics-driven culture
