Transaction Management will support multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle, including loan closing, servicing coordination, complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control. The role ensures operational oversight of all loan transactions within the division to meet all internal and external requirements. The position involves responsibilities such as team leadership, process design, operational and technological enhancements, and compliance with corporate policies.
Job Responsibility:
Perform leadership role relevant to building and developing the team supporting loan origination and lifecycle management
oversee processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and transaction management implementation
design and implement technology including testing and rollout
provide training and support to transaction management staff and business stakeholders
partner with originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, etc.
ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
define and implement operational metrics, risk, and control reviews
improve processes, controls, and efficiencies
lead projects for enhanced performance and efficiency
coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events
manage deal closing pipeline
troubleshoot issues/roadblocks
perform quality control
manage risks and compliance, ensuring business transparency.
Requirements:
10-12 years of experience
excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
ability to work well under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete assigned tasks with minimal management follow up
quantitative skills with high proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft-based programs
Tableau or visualization tool familiarity
experience with Loan IQ, transaction capture tools, etc.
keen attention to detail
developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
client relationship and solution skills
experience in management/team lead capacity
building and developing teams within a large global team supporting wholesale lending at a large financial institution
strong knowledge of wholesale loan (syndicated/bilateral) product and business, including understanding of legal loan documentation, loan/funding mechanics, deal structure, and funds flows
substantial experience working with clients under time constraints to facilitate transactions
proven ability to collaborate with team members, senior management, and business constituents in a steering capacity
critical decision-making capabilities
ability to multi-task through strong organizational and time management skills
comprehensive understanding and awareness of appropriate corporate and regulatory policies in relation to lending
deep knowledge of operational processes supporting wholesale lending
focus on achieving/exceeding key operating standards within a KPI/metrics-driven culture
ability to work in frequently changing priorities.
