Vice President - Financial Crime Compliance

• identifying financial crime compliance risks and impacts on the business
• providing guidance on financial crime compliance advisory
• implementing HSBC financial crime compliance strategy, policies and controls specific to Asset Management business
• handling sanctions, AML, negative news and suspicious transaction monitoring alerts
• liaising with internal and external stakeholders on financial crime compliance risks
• providing advice on risk mitigation strategies for prospective business, products, and services
• staying updated on key regulatory changes
• efficiently submitting necessary financial crime compliance reports
• supporting the Head of Compliance in regulatory obligations and fostering a culture of compliance

• 8-10 years of experience in asset management financial crime compliance
• very good understanding of regulatory framework applicable to asset management businesses in India, specifically for portfolio management business and relevant financial crime regulations
• graduate or above
• certification in Anti-Money Laundering as an added advantage
• mandatory completion of Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment
