Job Responsibility:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, trade shows, and lead generation initiatives
Maintain and expand a network of business referral partners
Engage with clients to explain trade finance offerings and negotiate preliminary terms in coordination with senior management
Regularly update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) with lead status, client developments, and follow-up actions
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and ensure timely progress reporting
Research/Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the trade finance and factoring sector
Organize, coordinate and complete the client due diligence process including recommendation and liaising with internal teams (Credit, Compliance) and Management to facilitate deal evaluation and presentation for approval
Meet sales targets and help establish the company’s business plan
Support Client Managers during onboarding, documentation, and troubleshooting stages
Ensure a smooth transition from deal initiation to funded stage, maintaining ongoing communication with clients and internal teams
Represent the company professionally in market engagements, client meetings, and industry forums
Maintain effective communication with clients/prospects
establish long-term working relations with clients and spearhead close interaction with all Tradewind offices to develop synergies across the Tradewind group
Requirements:
Strong ability in market development, communication and coordination
Proven ability to generate leads, sales and manage client relationships independently
Good understanding of KYC, AML, and PEPs is advantageous
Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness
Detailed-oriented with good organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Accuracy, diligence, and a high level of attention to detail
Preferably 7–10 years of experience in Trade Finance, factoring, or B2B financial services (exposure to export clients preferred but not mandatory)
Knowledge of export financing, working capital products and export factoring solutions
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or International Trade
