Job Responsibility

Perform an Area Inspection of the area of the plant they are covering and turn in the signed and completed area inspection upon completion of their shift
Inspect belt lines, rollers, water and oil flows and levels, bearings, motors, drive belts and chains, hoppers and chutes, ducts, mechanical linkages, inspecting fire extinguishers and safety equipment
Sweep, shovel and do general cleanup of areas as needed
Occasional jackhammering (electric and pneumatic) of hardened material
Operate vacuum truck and the vacuum hose to clean bulk spills
Operate various pieces of mobile equipment as needed after being task trained on
If trained, fill in on various jobs in other departments
Occasionally manual carry parts inventory or other materials
