The Tri-County Technical College Health Education Division is seeking a collaborative, energetic, and innovative Veterinary Technology Instructor.
Job Responsibility
Teach courses by providing systematically planned and delivered instruction in the classroom and through distance learning
Design and develop courses and curriculum
Evaluate student performance
Perform castrations and ovariohysterectomies
Advise students
Review, evaluate and revise course objectives, instructional materials, and course syllabi
Ensure compliance with all accrediting guidelines
Serve as academic advisor to students
Participate in student recruitment and development
Maintain records of student academic progress and attendance
Evaluate level of achievement and assign grades
Participate in professional development activities
Serve on College committees
Participate in recruiting and marketing activities
Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of doctorate degree (DVM)
Must meet SACSCOC guidelines for teaching in the discipline
Active and unencumbered SC Veterinarian license (DVM)
a minimum of 5-year experience working with small and/or large animals in a clinical setting
Nice to have
prior teaching experience is preferred
