As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse Manager to lead and support our talented nursing team. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for an experienced or emerging leader who passionate about team development, clinical excellence, and creating a positive hospital culture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting the veterinary nursing team
  • Coordinating nursing rosters to ensure effective hospital coverage
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and development of nurses
  • Promoting a positive, collaborative team culture
  • Assisting with the implementation and compliance of company policies
  • Managing conflict resolution and supporting difficult conversations when required
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including Workplace Health and Safety
  • Driving continuous improvement in nursing processes and patient care standards

Requirements:

  • Veterinary Nursing or management qualifications or relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ leadership or management experience
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence managing challenges, including conflict resolution
  • A commitment to exceptional patient care and client service
  • Willingness to work every second weekend, some evenings and public holidays as required
