As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse Manager to lead and support our talented nursing team. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for an experienced or emerging leader who passionate about team development, clinical excellence, and creating a positive hospital culture.
Job Responsibility:
Leading, mentoring and supporting the veterinary nursing team
Coordinating nursing rosters to ensure effective hospital coverage
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and development of nurses
Promoting a positive, collaborative team culture
Assisting with the implementation and compliance of company policies
Managing conflict resolution and supporting difficult conversations when required
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including Workplace Health and Safety
Driving continuous improvement in nursing processes and patient care standards
Requirements:
Veterinary Nursing or management qualifications or relevant experience
Minimum 3 years’ leadership or management experience
Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence managing challenges, including conflict resolution
A commitment to exceptional patient care and client service
Willingness to work every second weekend, some evenings and public holidays as required
