Job Description

PVE Yokine is a dedicated after-hours emergency hospital, operating: Mon–Fri: 8:00pm – 6:00am; Weekends & Public Holidays: 24/7. Part of Animal Emergency Australia (AEA), a progressive ECC network known for clinical excellence, collaboration, and people-first leadership. You’ll work alongside experienced ECC veterinarians, skilled nurses, and leaders who actively invest in your development.

Job Responsibility

  • Build confidence in emergency procedures, decision-making, and after-hours caseloads
  • Handle challenging & rewarding caseloads – medicine, surgery, trauma, critical care

Requirements

  • BVSc / DVM (or equivalent) recognised in Australia
  • Current (or eligible) veterinary registration in Australia
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to gold-standard patient care
  • Confidence working independently, with strong clinical judgement
  • Curiosity, resilience, and a desire to keep learning
