• Deliver a high level of service to guest congruent with The Ocean Club Standards
• Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and received on a timely basis
• Maintain strict discipline and report all infractions to the Restaurant Manager
• Assist other colleagues as needed
• Inspect the restaurant and take appropriate action to ensure brand standards
• Check tables, side stands, equipment and supplies
• Possess detailed knowledge of all food and beverage menus
• Monitor and ensure the timelines of service
• Ascertain that guests are provided with prompt and courteous service
• Greet and welcome guests with a genuine smile
• Use guest’s name in every interaction
• Inform guests of menu specials and menu changes, make suggestions and answer questions
• Take beverage, food and wine orders promptly, accurately and courteously
• Set up all tables as required by restaurant standards
• Ensure service utensils, silverware and dishware are clean and free of defects
• Complete all pre-shifts and ongoing side work, ensuring side stands are fully stocked, organized and clean
• Monitor assigned station throughout service, observing and following up to guest’s needs
• Assist colleagues throughout the shift as needed
