At Redcape Hospitality, we’re seeking a passionate, people-first leader to take the helm at the iconic Shamrock Hotel Motel. As Venue Manager, you’ll drive performance across bar, gaming, dining, retail and motel operations while protecting the strong community reputation this venue is known for. Job Responsibility

  • Lead through Redcape’s purpose, values and behaviours to deliver on our key performance metrics
  • Support your Team in building, coaching and developing a skilled, capable and motivated venue team that delivers extraordinary customer experiences and drives venue performance
  • Work cohesively leading the Venue Leadership Team, taking carriage of general hotel operations, driving performance, executing strategic initiatives and improving/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience

Requirements

  • Liquor Licensing & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with alcohol laws and RSA requirements
  • Venue Safety & Security: Maintain a safe venue, manage security, and enforce fire and OH&S standards
  • Financial & Operations Oversight: Oversee budgeting, rostering, profitability, and operational efficiency
  • People & Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff to deliver high-performance and exceptional service
  • Customer Experience: Drive guest satisfaction, handle feedback, and continually improve service standards
  • Health, Safety & Sustainability: Ensure health, hygiene, and sustainability compliance across the venue
  • Marketing & Promotions: Work with marketing and events teams to boost venue visibility and revenue
