Job Responsibility:
Lead a diverse, community venue with an exciting future
Lead a high-performing operation across bar, gaming, dining and retail, driving results while continuing to build on the venue’s reputation as a go-to destination for locals
Shape the venue’s next phase of growth, elevate the guest experience and build a high-performing team
Lead through Redcape’s purpose, values and behaviours to deliver on our key performance metrics
Support your Team in building, coaching and developing a skilled, capable and motivated venue team that delivers extraordinary customer experiences and drives venue performance
Work cohesively leading the Venue Leadership Team, taking carriage of general hotel operations, driving performance, executing strategic initiatives and improving/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience
Requirements:
Liquor Licensing & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with alcohol laws and RSA requirements
Venue Safety & Security: Maintain a safe venue, manage security, and enforce fire and OH&S standards
People & Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff to deliver high-performance and exceptional service
Customer Experience: Drive guest satisfaction, handle feedback, and continually improve service standards
Health, Safety & Sustainability: Ensure health, hygiene, and sustainability compliance across the venue
Marketing & Promotions: Work with marketing and events teams to boost venue visibility and revenue
