We are recruiting a Compute Vendor Specialist to take ownership of driving compute revenue growth for a newly appointed tier-one global technology vendor. This is a newly created, strategically important role following a major vendor partnership. You'll play a key role in building, scaling, and embedding this compute portfolio as a core profit centre within the business. Operating as a vendor-aligned sales overlay, you will work closely with Account Managers and Business Development Managers to shape demand, influence opportunities, and convert pipeline - without owning customer accounts directly.
Job Responsibility:
Owning and delivering the compute growth target across the business
Increasing penetration and turnover within existing customers through refresh cycles, new use cases, services attach, and competitive displacement
Identifying, developing, and converting net new compute opportunities across the UK reseller estate
Building and maintaining a strong, balanced pipeline of opportunities
Acting as the compute subject-matter expert in customer meetings, presentations, and calls
Supporting internal sales teams with opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and commercial justification
Building strong, sales-aligned relationships with the vendor's sales and product teams
Collaborating with Vendor Management and Marketing to support campaigns, enablement, and go-to-market activity
Maintaining accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline visibility through CRM systems
Requirements:
Proven experience in IT distribution, reseller sales, vendor-led sales, or channel environments
Strong background in compute, devices, hardware, or end-user technology solutions
Experience in vendor overlay, specialist, or manufacturer-aligned roles (or ready to step into one)
Strong commercial judgement and opportunity qualification skills
Comfortable influencing deals without direct authority
Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised with excellent pipeline management and CRM discipline
Willingness to travel across the UK as required
What we offer:
Uncapped OTE of £80,000-£100,000
Opportunity to work closely with a globally recognised tier-one technology vendor
Ownership of a high-growth compute proposition from an early stage
Clear scope for progression as the vendor partnership scales
