Job Description

BIS Vendor Relationship Lead is responsible for being the interface between the IT department and third-party suppliers of assets and services, who are external to the organization. This strategic and hands on delivery role manages all aspects of Vendor Relationship Management, creates guidelines for vendor coordination, contract compliance and vendor governance.

Job Responsibility

  • Be the interface between the IT department and third-party suppliers
  • manage all aspects of Vendor Relationship Management
  • create guidelines for vendor coordination, contract compliance and vendor governance
  • define and implement the vendor management strategy
  • work closely with key stakeholders to maintain consistency at a global scale
  • lead end-to-end vendor/contract management processes, analysis of vendor performance, and advisory services
  • lead or facilitate business relationships and negotiations
  • lead the design, development and implementation of IT governance and continual service improvement processes
  • act as a key reference point and subject matter expert on contractual frameworks
  • act as escalation point and/or coordinate resolution of escalated issues
  • oversee the set up and onboarding of Third Parties post contract execution
  • maintain strong relationships with Third Parties and internal stakeholders
  • ensure integrity in dealing with Third Parties
  • perform vendor audits
  • perform periodic contractual reviews
  • establish vendor management office (VMO)
  • identify and implement opportunity to reduce costs
  • communicate the vision of continuous service improvement (CSI)
  • manage the accessibility and flow of knowledge
  • work closely with the Procurement and Compliance team

Requirements

  • University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical degrees
  • 5 years of experience as an IT Vendor Relationship Lead
  • ITIL Certification
  • good knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ServiceNow
  • outstanding communication skills – Written and Verbal
  • expertise on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to have

Certifications in Vendor management framework would be an asset
