We are looking for a skilled Procurement Manager to oversee vendor onboarding processes and team management in a dynamic, metrics-driven environment. This role requires strong leadership abilities, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to ensuring vendor compliance and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and mentor a team of Vendor Onboarding Specialists, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and one-on-one coaching sessions to enhance team skills and engagement
  • Oversee the vendor onboarding process, ensuring adherence to compliance, quality, and operational standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and the timely handoff of onboarding packages
  • Monitor team metrics, including call volumes and onboarding timelines, to maintain efficiency and quality
  • Implement improvement plans for underperforming team members, tracking progress and providing actionable feedback
  • Develop outreach strategies, training materials, and workflows to optimize team effectiveness
  • Identify and analyze performance trends, recommending enhancements to onboarding processes
  • Address risks, bottlenecks, and recurring issues to ensure operational readiness and continuity
  • Support hiring and onboarding processes to build a well-balanced and capable team

Requirements

  • Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on coaching and performance improvement
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with stakeholders
  • Familiarity with compliance and quality standards relevant to vendor onboarding
  • Proficiency in analyzing metrics and implementing strategies for operational improvement
  • Experience with outbound calling environments and customer service processes
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions to enhance process efficiency
  • Knowledge of training and development practices to build team capabilities
