Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for staffing vendors, fostering effective, trust-based relationships and ensuring alignment with Bombardier’s business priorities
  • Manage vendor performance and governance, including SLAs, KPIs, compliance, and issue resolution, in collaboration with internal stakeholders (TA, HR, Procurement, Hiring Managers)
  • Lead regular governance and alignment meetings with staffing vendors and internal teams to review business needs, requisition volumes, pipelines, and contractor performance
  • Ensure alignment between Bombardier’s strategic priorities and contractor or contract-to-hire needs for all of our business units (Aftermarket, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering) (Canada & USA)
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements related to vendor management, onboarding, and training
  • Ensure staffing vendors follow all onboarding processes and conduct quality audits on supplier documentation and vendor packets
  • Support Bombardier’s ATS (SuccessFactors) by posting requisitions to vendors and monitoring candidate movement throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Support the full recruitment cycle for permanent hires when required, including job posting, sourcing, pre screening and interviews, offers, and onboarding
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience and promote Bombardier’s employer brand in all interactions

Requirements:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred
  • You have 5 to 7 years of experience in recruitment, and agency management including complex and high-volume roles
  • You are bilingual in French and English
  • You have experience in the aerospace and/or manufacturing industry. Experience in a unionized environment is a strong asset
  • You have managed multiple roles in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • You are team-oriented, results-driven, and have demonstrated strong influencing skills
  • Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong client focus and innovative mindset
  • Knowledge of market trends and recruitment best practices
  • You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and can manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
