Job Description

This in-office role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vehicle ownership documentation throughout the repossession and recovery process. This role reviews, audits, and processes documentation, resolves title-related issues, manages assigned work queues, and partners with internal teams, vendors, financial institutions, and state agencies to ensure compliance and timely completion of vehicle documentation.

Job Responsibility

  • Review, process, and validate vehicle ownership documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Audit documentation to ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies
  • Research and resolve documentation discrepancies, ownership issues, and missing information
  • Manage assigned production queues while meeting established productivity and quality standards
  • Communicate with state agencies, vendors, financial institutions, clients, and internal departments to obtain required documentation and resolve outstanding issues
  • Maintain accurate records and update account statuses within internal systems
  • Prioritize multiple requests while ensuring deadlines are met
  • Identify process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external partners

Requirements

  • Previous experience processing vehicle documentation, titles, registrations, or ownership records preferred
  • Experience within repossession, automotive finance, dealerships, auctions, lending, or DMV/BMV environments is highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify documentation discrepancies
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
