Job Description

Paul Rigby Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our dedicated team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a vital part of a reputable company committed to excellence in the automotive industry.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform thorough vehicle diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer standards
  • Identify and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet daily targets and customer expectations
  • Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and industry best practices

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a busy automotive workshop
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Health and safety awareness in the workshop environment
