A local garage you can trust. Our client, Cadnam Garage, are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their expanding team. Planning permission has been approved for site modernisation, allowing the workshop to accommodate wider, taller and heavier vehicles — securing long-term growth and development. Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Conduct MOT testing (or undertake training if not currently qualified)
  • Complete repairs to a high standard within agreed timeframes
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow
  • Maintain accurate job records and documentation
  • Keep up to date with evolving vehicle technologies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Vehicle Technician
  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
  • MOT Tester qualification preferred but training available if required
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with both colleagues and customers
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
