Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Vehicle Processing & Warehouse Associate to support the efficient processing and delivery of vehicles, as well as manage incoming and outgoing shipments. This dual-role position involves safely driving and inspecting vehicles, installing accessories, and performing warehouse operations, including inventory management and shipping/receiving duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
  • Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments in accordance with company and industry standards
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and store inventory
  • Maintain organized, accurate records of shipments and inventory
  • Ensure all shipping and receiving areas are clean, safe, and compliant with company policies
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support efficient workflow
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management
  • Safely handle automotive parts, accessories, and related materials
  • Safely operate and maneuver all makes and models of vehicles under various conditions
  • Install accessories on new vehicles with accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform quality checks to verify correct fit, function, and installation of accessories
  • Conduct final vehicle inspections for defects or installation issues
  • Assist with peer training and support
  • Perform ramp driving duties and proper vehicle placement in load lines
  • Secure and document the receipt of parts and maintain shop tools and equipment
  • Follow safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain compliance with company standards
  • Complete required documentation and reports for the final check process
  • Handle customer and consumer data responsibly in compliance with data privacy standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of basic accessory shop productivity metrics
  • Professional-level driving skills and ability to meet TMS Audit Criteria
  • Willingness to cross-train in other areas
  • Must pass a drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move up to 100 lbs.
  • Full range of motion including stooping, kneeling, squatting, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, crouching, and crawling
  • Specific vision abilities required: close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
