Vehicle Mobile Technician

• Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs on a range of vehicles
• Inspect vehicles to identify faults, defects, or potential failures and report findings
• Replace tyres as required, ensuring all work meets technical and safety standards
• Use a variety of tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently
• Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and company procedures at all times
• Clearly communicate with customers regarding the work required and completed
• Ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy before returning them to service
• Identify required repairs and faulty components in line with technical documentation
• Minimise vehicle off-road (VOR) time by ensuring quick and effective repairs
• Deliver excellent customer service and communication at all times
• Collaborate with third-party suppliers to support timely turnaround of vehicles
• Support parts ordering and stock management for the fleet
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless repair process

• Full UK Driving Licence
• IMI Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (e.g. City & Guilds)
• Experience in a mobile or workshop technician role
• Comfortable working with a variety of commercial vehicle types
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Positive, customer-focused attitude
• Team-oriented but able to work independently
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms to customers
