Job Description:

A reputable company in Hasselt specializing in the installation of towbars for cars and vans is seeking skilled and motivated Fitters to join their growing team. With an existing team of three employees, the company plans to expand by hiring three additional fitters. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent employment. The position offers sector-standard salary, meal vouchers after three months, and a stable work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Install towbars on a variety of vehicles, including cars and vans
Work Monday to Friday
hours vary by season: Low season (November to February): 9 AM to 6 PM
Peak season (March to October): 7 AM to 6 PM with a one-hour lunch break
Meet daily installation targets and collaborate with team members
Adjust to seasonal fluctuations, including potential one-month leave during low periods
Adhere to safety and quality standards while accommodating overtime requirements during peak seasons (up to 50 hours per week, per union agreements)

Requirements:

Experience with automotive electrical systems, including diagnostic skills
Ability to meet daily installation targets (3-4 towbars per day)
Flexible and adaptable to seasonal work demands
Strong team player, preferably applying in pairs
Eligible for sector-standard salary (Baremaloon PC 149.02)
Long-term employment focus with meal vouchers provided after three months (€7 per working day)
