Job Description:

Do you dream of tinkering with various vehicles and machines, from forklifts to aerial work platforms? As our new rolling stock technician, you will become the expert in maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment. You'll ensure our machines continue to operate safely and efficiently, perform timely maintenance, and analyze sudden breakdowns. The maintenance, testing, and repair of traction batteries will also be part of your responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • maintain rolling stock, including forklifts, terminal tractors, aerial work platforms, club cars, electric pallet trucks, and reach trucks
  • perform timely maintenance and analyze sudden breakdowns
  • responsible for the maintenance, testing, and repair of traction batteries
  • carry out major maintenance on forklifts: including safety checks, painting, and tidying up the cabin
  • solve electrical faults and replace hydraulic cylinders

Requirements:

  • background in automotive mechanics, mechanics, or electromechanics (or equivalent through experience), with several years of experience
  • ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
  • comfortable working with a computer
  • willingness to work in a 2-shift system (fixed morning / afternoon - Monday to Friday from 05:30-13:30 and from 13:30-21:30)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with 'Linde' forklifts
  • Knowledge of traction batteries and the ability to maintain and repair them
