Job Description:

Auto Solutions Limited (ASL) Bermuda is seeking an experienced Vehicle Leasing Manager to design, build, and operationalise this new leasing proposition from the ground up. This role offers a rare opportunity to take a greenfield concept through to a fully functioning, scalable leasing business, establishing the financial, operational, risk, and governance foundations that will support long-term growth. The role is hands-on and entrepreneurial in nature, suited to someone with the appetite and capability to work in a start-up environment while benefiting from the backing and credibility of the wider LOM Group. This is not a sales role. The focus is on finance, operations, controls, and structure.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the end-to-end set-up of the vehicle leasing business
  • Select, implement, and embed leasing and portfolio management systems
  • Design financial terms, pricing frameworks, and lease structures
  • Work with external legal advisers to draft and implement leasing contracts and T&Cs
  • Establish operational processes covering onboarding, asset management, renewals, and disposals
  • Build financial models covering lease economics, depreciation, residual values, and lifecycle costs
  • Define credit and underwriting frameworks and risk appetite
  • Establish portfolio monitoring, arrears management, and impairment reporting
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting
  • Design and implement controls, policies, and procedures appropriate for a regulated environment
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance standards and jurisdiction-specific requirements
  • Support audit, risk, and regulatory engagement
  • Manage key third-party supplier relationships
  • Partner with ASL commercial and sales teams to support market-facing activity
  • Act as the finance and operations lead for the leasing business
  • Provide insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Expertise in vehicle leasing, asset finance or structured finance
  • Proven capability in setting up or scaling new business lines or products
  • Strong understanding of leasing economics and portfolio management
  • Experience implementing systems, processes, and financial controls
  • Finance qualification desirable (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or similar)
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline preferred
  • Asset finance or leasing qualifications are advantageous

Nice to have:

  • Multi-jurisdiction or offshore experience
  • Fleet, SME, or corporate leasing exposure
  • Greenfield or transformation experience
What we offer:
  • Opportunity to build a new leasing business from the ground up
  • High visibility and genuine influence
  • UK-based with regular Bermuda travel
  • Start-up autonomy with established group backing
  • Competitive remuneration aligned to experience
