Job Description:

NSL, part of Marston Holdings Limited has an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Inspector to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. Job Responsibility:

  • Inspect Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles to meet TfL licencing criteria
  • Record inspection findings using PCs and Handheld Computers
  • Liaise with customers, offering test feedback, advice, and guidance in terms of re-booking and rectifications required
  • Updating the system with any vehicle changes, damage reports or new documentation
  • Liaise with colleagues and TfL over policy, procedures, and changes

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience of driving manual vehicles
  • Close attention to detail
  • Ability to check documentation to ensure it is accurate and check vehicles to ensure they are in line with the licencing rules
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Strong report writing abilities
