Job Responsibility

Undertake the maintenance of vehicles and equipment to a planned maintenance schedule
Undertake the maintenance of all Road Rail vehicles, plant and equipment in accordance with Legislation and manufacturer’s instructions
Undertake the maintenance of all other vehicles, plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
The recording of all maintenance activities against each unique inventory number
Ensure that all paperwork such as time sheets, maintenance records, delivery tickets etc are all returned timeously to the main office
Carry out on-site fitter cover & on-call duties, as and when required
Only operate plant and machinery on which you have been adequately trained
Ensure hazardous substances are only handled in accordance with instructions
Give proper consideration to all parties and persons who may be affected by the work, (including the effects of noise, dust and fumes)
Correctly using work items provided by QTS, including Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with training and instruction
Ensure all work is carried out to specifications and instructions
Assist in any other aspect of the Company where required

Requirements

Preferably hold current PTS
Must be familiar with the railway, maintenance and NR plant standards
Must be IT literate
Full clean UK driving licence
