Job Responsibility

To prepare manual and computerised estimates efficiently and ensure that they conform to the requirements laid down by the insurance company/customer
Order parts (if applicable), ensuring they are supplied correctly, in full and in time for the vehicle’s arrival
To maintain a file of all estimates undertaken
Once authorisation has been gained, liaise with the Bodyshop personnel and make sure that they understand fully the work to be done as per the estimate
To be aware of and adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment

Job Responsibility

Prepare manual and computerised estimates efficiently and ensure it conforms to the requirements laid down by the insurance company/customer
Order parts (if applicable) ensuring they are supplied correctly, in full and in time for the vehicle’s arrival
Maintain a file of all estimates undertaken making sure that all work that is not automatically authorised is identified
Once authorisation has been gained liaise with the body shop personnel and make sure that they understand fully the work to be done as per the estimate
Be aware of and adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment

Requirements

5 GCSE’s at grade A* to C/ 9 to 4 (or equivalent) including maths, English essential
Science and ICT are desirable
Excellent communication skills
Confidence in communication via phone
Meticulous attention to detail
The willingness to also undertake basic duties as part of training
Computer literate
Due to the requirements of the role, candidates are required to either hold, or be willing to work towards achieving a full clean driving license
Candidates must be able to travel to the workplace according to working hours
A passion for the automotive industry

Job Responsibility

Construct a comprehensive repair pack to ensure damage vehicle are repaired in a safe and structural process
Engage with a range of customers by many methods including direct “face to face”, email, telephone and by structured “platforms” communication
Prepare the plan for the various workshop technicians to undertake all repair processes to reinstate vehicle to pre-accident condition
Complete any other tasks deemed by the line manager as appropriate in line with the role

Relevant experience as an estimator
Ability to qualify and quantify repairs required
Ability to negotiate effectively with third parties
Audatex Trained
Escribe trained and Adherence
Ability to discuss and negotiate agreeable solutions to customer problems
Ability to maintain personal technical knowledge and skills including SMART repairs

Job Responsibility

Assist with planning resource and equipment levels around budgets and financial plans
Establish and maintain control of consistent workflow within the Bodyshop through effective capacity planning
Adhere to operational workshop loading system in line with company policy/procedures, ensuring all targets and deadlines are met or addressed
Manage daily production co-ordination
Regularly and consistently review site KPI performance to identify areas of potential shortfall against plan, delivery of average repair cost target, CSI targets and customer service scores
Manage customer complaints from initial contact through to conclusion
To carry out any root cause analysis on each complaint, identifying and implementing any actions required
Promote good communication throughout all areas of responsibility, develop and foster a pro-active attitude through regular, open and honest communication that supports the achievement of Company objectives
Carry out a visual inspection to identify any accidental damage caused to avoid uninsured loss damage costs
Estimate by considering the most economical repair method
