Job Responsibility

  • Build ADAS test vehicle based on software and hardware knowledge
  • Investigations such as signal data logging and analysis when issues occur
  • Coordinating with measurement equipment manufacturers and designers to gather technical specifications and request cooperation
  • Organize and report the status of the task to the manager and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3+ years professional experience as ADAS test vehicle construction or troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems (12V/24V power, CAN communication, relays, ECU configuration, etc.)
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams
  • Experience using electronic measuring instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, CAN tools, etc.)
  • Business level English and daily-conversation-level Japanese (Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or higher)
  • Interest to learn more about modern technologies

Nice to have

  • Ability to create a vehicle power supply configuration diagram and perform charge/discharge balance calculations
  • Knowledge and experience in designing power circuits and harnesses
  • Able to design brackets for fixing components
  • Knowledge of screw fastening and selection of bolts and nuts
  • Experience with CAD
  • Understands command line in Linux OS
