Job Description:

1 year renewable contract; Physical Demands: Standing, sitting, walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, crouching; Hands-on work utilizing heavy machinery and hand tools; Operate in confined spaces and varying work environments; Potential exposure to noise, dust, weld fume, and extreme temperatures.

Job Responsibility:

Perform Rebuild / Retrofit tasks and other general assembly duties, while under supervision of a qualified Technician
Clean vehicles and or parts as directed by trained Technician
Assist Technicians in other functional areas as required
Prepare vehicle for interior and exterior painting by scuffing applicable surfaces, employing proper masking techniques, and remove rust
Understand and apply the company safety policies and relevant Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation and Code
Report any accidents, incidents, near misses and injuries
Follow company medical and first aid procedure
Use safe work procedures

Requirements:

Minimum 1 -2 years relevant experience
IN PROCESS OF 310s (apprentice), or fully licensed equivalent
Proficient communication, organization and prioritization skills
Experience working with teams and/or customers
Must be able to work swing shift
Must be able to work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks – i.e. lifting, climbing
Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined space

Nice to have:

College diploma
Experience in a Shop / Manufacturing Environment
