Job Description

Due to the ongoing expansion of our Vertu Vehicle Solution Centre in Darlington, we are looking for a highly motivated Vehicle Appraiser / Quality Controller to join our growing team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out accurate vehicle appraisals covering both body and mechanical repair as requirements. You will work closely with all departments to support management in implementing and maintaining effective processes that ensure high quality repair standards, smooth workflow and the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct detailed and accurate vehicle appraisals
  • Assess required body and mechanical repair work
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is completed accurately
  • Liaise with internal teams to support efficient repair processes
  • Maintain a safe working environment in line with company Health & Safety policy
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping, organisation, and general site presentation

Requirements

  • A keen eye for detail
  • A solid understanding of general vehicle mechanics
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and positive approach to work

Nice to have

Previous Bodyshop or mechanical experience
