Job Description:

Lead the strategy and campaigns that grow a nationally recognised veterinary education brand. Strategic and hands on role! VE&T is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to drive growth of the Improve Veterinary Education Australia brand. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for digital strategy, CRM management, content, PPC oversight and campaign execution to increase course enrolments and revenue across postgraduate veterinary and veterinary nurse education programs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies aligned with revenue targets
  • Participate in VE&T leadership planning
  • Partner with and manage PPC contractors across Google and Meta
  • Communicate strategy and performance clearly to stakeholders
  • Own and optimise ActiveCampaign CRM
  • Build segmentation, automation workflows and structured nurture sequences
  • Execute targeted EDM campaigns to maximise enrolments which meet revenue targets
  • Oversee PPC performance analysis and optimisation
  • Manage and update WordPress website (program pages, forms, SEO)
  • Lead content strategy across digital channels
  • Produce clinically relevant veterinary content
  • Manage social media planning, posting and engagement
  • Coordinate photography and video for campaigns
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics
  • Grow sales and business revenue quarter on quarter
  • Provide insights to inform strategic decisions
  • Contribute to CEO and board reporting
  • Manage annual marketing budget with Director of Operations
  • Plan and execute Improve Veterinary Education presence at industry conferences

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a hands-on marketing role
  • Strong CRM experience (ActiveCampaign preferred)
  • Demonstrated EDM automation and database nurturing expertise
  • PPC management experience (Google & Meta)
  • WordPress website management capability
  • Strong content writing and communication skills
  • Data-driven mindset with commercial awareness
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • Sales background desirable

Nice to have:

Experience in veterinary, healthcare, education or professional services marketing will be highly regarded
