Job Description

Our client, with locations across the US, is currently in need of a VCF Architect for a 6 week contract. The consultant will work remote in support of the HLD, LLD and JSON for a VCF 9 to 9.1 migration.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead design workshops and discovery sessions with customer stakeholders
  • Develop architecture diagrams, business requirements, high-level, low-level designs for VCF 9
  • Define workload domain strategy, NSX design, vSAN policies, Fleet management, SDDC Manager integration
  • Provide input to transformation roadmaps and migration strategies from legacy vSphere/VCF
  • Collaborate with oversight architects, consultants, project managers, and partner teams to ensure designs are executed effectively
  • Review and approve design artifacts, ensuring alignment with VMware reference architectures
  • Work directly with Broadcom internal stakeholders
  • Engage with commercial and/or public sector clients to assess requirements
  • Develop and oversee all training programs
  • Manage, oversee, and execute VMware/VCF deployments
  • Ensure all VMware/VCF deployments meet federal security and compliance standards
  • Serve as a thought leader within the VMware/VCF space

Requirements

  • Prior experience designing VCF 9 environments
  • Ability to research and qualify VCF 9.1 design requirements
  • Deep expertise in VCF
  • including vSphere, NSX, vSAN, Operations, and/or Automation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
