We are seeking a Testing Engineer who will ensure that high‑quality testing services are delivered across diverse software and network solutions. The individual will support the full testing lifecycle—from understanding requirements and designing test cases through to execution, automation, and defect management. The role involves close collaboration with Test Leads and cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, identify defects early, and drive continuous improvements in testing practices.
Job Responsibility:
Analyse design specifications and requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases
Execute test plans using test data or real data to validate functional specifications
Develop, maintain, and execute regression test plans and regression test cases
Build and maintain automated testing scenarios and tools
Collect required data and complete testing reports with accuracy
Monitor the defect lifecycle, create and track defects, ensure clear documentation, and support defect retesting
Contribute to improvement, automation, and Load & Performance optimisation initiatives
Deliver manual and automated testing for software, hardware, and web services solutions
Support test planning and estimate testing effort and timelines
Requirements:
Skilled in TCP/IP, SSL, XML, XSD, Java, HTML5, and familiar with automation frameworks
Experienced with HP ALM, JIRA, TFS or similar test management tools
Knowledgeable in REST and SOAP web services testing (manual and automated)
Competent in SQL queries and data management techniques
Familiar with scripting languages such as Groovy, Java, Selenium, Appium, C, C++, C#, and tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, and JMeter
Understands software requirements, use cases, functional and UI specifications, and object-oriented analysis
Demonstrates strong knowledge of the testing cycle, methodologies (Waterfall and Agile), and ISTQB-like best practices
Experienced in Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Bring strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
Hold university studies in informatics, electronics, electrical engineering, or information technology
Proficient in English (minimum B2)
