Job Responsibility

Set up configurable products, bill of materials, variant configuration pricing and the underlying master data for Generac products
Primary liaison between the engineering function and other business group to gather input data, plan, programming, and coordinate release of the VC type of products into SAP and associated applications (CRM, Genconnect)
Coordinate testing of new applications and support regression testing
Perform advanced troubleshooting support to VC team and other business functions
Understands the validity of engineering requests and makes initial determination of severity of impact on currently available systems interacting with SAP VC
Performs a product SAP VC target testing and validation
Participates in collecting, documenting, and communicating best practices affecting product configuration process utilizing SAP VC
Trains and mentors new business analysts in the VC group
Evaluates critical information gathered from multiple sources. Reconciles conflicting information and decomposes high-level information into a detailed functional design, distinguishing the initial user request and underlying true needs in relationship to the product configuration
Sets up Options, Characteristics, BOMs and rules in SAP VC based on the input from engineering
