Job Description

Sopra Steria Ventures is the Group’s strategic Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) arm. We invest in startups capable of enriching our core business and play a key role in creating synergies across all Sopra Steria entities to accelerate the Group’s innovation capabilities. Our mission is to support Sopra Steria in identifying, communicating about, and establishing strategic partnerships with innovative startups to address major transformation challenges (AI, Quantum, Cybersecurity, Data, Blockchain, etc.).

Job Responsibility

  • Startup Sourcing: Identify startups and scale-ups through social networks, specialized platforms, and data scraping
  • Contribute to the creation of databases and sector mapping projects
  • Communications: Work on VC-related content: newsletters, social media posts, blog articles, reporting
  • Help showcase the portfolio and CVC initiatives
  • Venture Materials & Presentations: Produce and improve materials (internal presentations, memos, external communications)
  • Prepare reporting materials for committees and senior management
  • Events & Coordination: Assist with organizing ecosystem and startup events: introductions, demo days, internal events
  • Coordinate logistics, speakers, materials, and associated communications
  • Help represent the CVC at external events (startups, VCs, CVCs, associations)

Requirements

  • Master’s student or gap-year student from a business school, engineering school, or university (The signed internship agreement is the mandatory reference document)
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Proficient with automation and productivity tools (Notion, Figma, Airtable, CRM tools)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • good design sense and ability to structure presentation materials
  • Ability to quickly take ownership of new topics
  • Interest in the startup, tech, and finance ecosystems
