Job Description:

Responsible for leading value analysis and value engineering initiatives to optimize product design, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, excellent analytical skills, and experience with VAVE methodologies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Meet annual savings target
  • Lead VAVE workshops and teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
  • Conduct detailed analysis of product design, materials, and manufacturing processes to identify areas for optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement VAVE recommendations
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including VAVE reports, proposals, and presentations
  • Work with suppliers to negotiate cost reductions and implement design changes
  • Identify and implement best practices and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Good english skills (written and oral)
  • Computer skills (MS Office)
  • 3+ years of experience in VAVE, engineering, or related field
  • Strong understanding of VAVE methodologies and tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with product design, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Ability to lead and facilitate workshops and teams

  • Identify, define, and justify VAVE opportunities
  • Assist management with the planning and approval phases of programs and then assume full responsibility for executing project plans
  • Ensure that cost, performance, reliability, safety goals, and DFMA metrics meet established requirements
  • Responsible for completing VAVE engineering assignments: concept/opportunity identification, feasibility assessment, design, cost/value justification, and testing/validation
